Integrated Flight Guidance Instrument
The DynaViz IFGI auxiliary display comes in two versions:
- The DynaFlight 3 version, which connects to the fully-featured DynaFlight 3 series flight computer as an auxiliary guidance display.
- The AirAg E-Series version, which contains all computing circuitry, and is the main component of the entry-level E-Series system.
DF3 DynaViz IFGI Display
Part of the DynaFlight 3 fully featured system.
The DynaViz IFGI is an extremely accurate flight guidance display instrument that enables a more intuitive and efficient piloting experience than can be achieved using traditional lightbar systems.
The electroluminescent display is mounted on the dashboard within the pilot’s line-of-sight, for easy reference without being intrusive. It provides a graphical display of the exact location of the aircraft relative to the ground, and many other data and software functions. The display is clearly visible in any light, with easily-adjustable luminosity and tilt via physical controls.
The display has two flight guidance modes: the moving map, and the “highway-in-the-sky”. This enables the pilot to fly straighter by following computed, GPS-synced virtual roadways as they fly.
It also has visual alerts that we call “ticklers” to keep the pilot on-course and improve accuracy. Should the aircraft stray off-course, the on-screen tickler will appear in the pilot’s peripheral vision. The tickler appears on the left or right of the display indicating the direction that the aircraft is off-course. The tickler will gradually increase or decrease in size and light intensity to reflect the magnitude of the distance strayed. If the pilot is flying to within one foot of his course, ticklers will not display on DynaViz, and that’s how you know you’re right on-course and spraying perfectly. Ticklers provide incremental, continuous feedback that enable the pilot to react smoothly, and make course corrections with greater accuracy than is possible using a lightbar.
In the moving-map display mode, the aircraft is displayed in an overhead view relative to pilot-defined spray polygons.
Control of the DynaViz is achieved using the DynaGrip Control, which features a 5-way tophat switch, trigger buttons, and additional user-configurable switches that can be set to control things like radio PTT or lighting.
By mounting the DynaViz on the dashboard, and controlling it using the DynaGrip, pilots can keep the majority of their vision focused outside the aircraft, and on their flying. We know you don’t want to be looking down, or fumbling with controls, so we made it easy to do everything you need to do. This sophisticated, yet elegant design spec fulfills DynaNav’s mandate of pilot safety, productivity, and ease-of-use. Try it for yourself, and you’ll agree.
AirAg E-Series DynaViz IFGI Display
Part of the DynaFlight AirAg E-Series entry-level system.
The E-Series IFGI is a fully-integrated GPS navigation system and flight computer featuring the same dimmable electroluminescent display as the DynaViz above. It also makes use of our highly-accurate, unique, and intuitive moving map and “highway-in-the-sky” graphical user interface modes.
The AirAg E-Series version of the DynaViz IFGI features a self-contained, embedded computer processor with integrated flow control electronics and GPS, offering a cost-effective alternative solution to the more robust and fully-featured DynaFlight 3 system that has those functions built into the Advanced Flight Computer.
The USB port is available for transferring job data directly to and from the system using a USB drive, as well as for software updates.
Like the DF3 version of the DynaViz, control everything related to jobs and customers directly from the DynaGrip control’s 5-way tophat switch, which features multiple customisable triggers for cockpit functions.
There are no remote boxes to manage. Extremely lightweight and cost-effective, this ready-to-go system can be expanded to include other components such as flow controllers and laser altimeters, and maintains value as part of the upgrade path toward DynaFlight 3 systems.
